In the kitchen you can see the walls, painted with a decorative roller, and its key element: the brick stove/špohert. All around it there is the traditional furniture preserved in the house at least from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Next to the stove there is an elegant bench/klup with a low slatted seatback from San Giorgio / Bila, on which the wooden headrest/zglawjë was placed. Sitting on this bench, you can get a feeling of the emotions and life experiences in the Resia Valley. Under the small window, along the wall, you can admire the beautiful wooden shelf/pulïca from the cottages of Rawni near Stolvizza /Solbica, where old dishes, glasses, and cutlery are put. Six identical wrought-iron hooks are fixed to the shelf and five small copper pots for making coffe (from Stolizza/Solbica) and a small copper heater for making cheese (from Idrsko near Kobarid/Caporetto, Slovenia) hang from them.
Under the shelf there is a small table/miza with ace-of-cups legs from Oseacco / Osoane, while under the biggest window there is a chest / bankić containing grain and flour. You can easily notice the small light blue cupboard next to it, which is composed of two parts: the upper part, where the coffee cups are, from San Giorgio / Bila, and the lower part from Stolvizza / Solbica. On the top of the cupboard an old wooden radio brings Resian voices and sounds into the room.
